UP FOR SALE IS A. VERY RARE CHENILLE BOBBLEHEAD CANDY CONTAINER MADE IN GERMANY. STANDS APPROXIMATELY 6 1/4 TALL. LOOKS COMPLETE BUT DOES SHOW SOME OVERALL SOILING AS PICTURED. I DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN IT PROPERLY SO AS IS. CHENILLE STEMS ARE WRAPPED AROUND THE HEAD AND BOY WITH STEMS MAKING THE ARMS. THE THE FEET ARE LIKE PAPIER MACHE / CARDBOARD AND HAVE GLITTER. A Lively and Expressive Vintage Snowman Nodder Bobble Head from the 1940’s, made in Germany. He stands 7.5 tall, All Original. Red Chenille Scarf, white frosty texture, carrying a wooden branch (or twig), Gold Foil Buttons, Bright Green Holly Leaf adds a festive touch to his Black Mica Top Hat. Slight wear of paint at eyes and smile, but a happy guy! Condition is used so please view all images as they are part of the description. He’s been packed away for as many years. This listing is for a large 8 1/2 candy container made in Western Germany. The piece is made from cardboard covered in composition (a combination of glue, sawdust, and plaster). The boy resembles the hard plastic candy containers made in the same era! He has a typical German expression! NOT sweet, but slightly sardonic! He has a round body that comes apart in the middle for the candy. His skis are made from cardboard, covered in faux snow! The are held in place on his shoes by elastic cords. His ski poles are wooden with cardboard circles also covered in faux snow! His head is on a coiled wire, so that it bobbles. His scarf is felt. He is dressed in wonderful patriotic colors – red, white and blue! He is dressed in wonderful patriotic colors – red, white and blue chenille! I try and recycle packaging materials as much as I can.
