This listing is a for the pair of political bobbing heads, bobble heads or nodders. The Donkey and Elephant, as their known, are listed in every bobbing head price guide under the selection of Political and found with Eisenhower, Castro and the Kennedys. They’re very hard to find in nice shape, as a paper mache bank, isn’t really the greatest of ideas. As fragile as these things are to start with, dropping coins into them certainly wouldn’t be a long lasting affair but I don’t think this pair was ever really used as a bank. They have no cracks, chips or breaks and will display beautifully. I can guarantee you that these little fellows never had any work done to them whatsoever. Also pictured in this ad are the other a few of the other nodders currently for sale. One of note is the Houston Colt Black face, the “Holy Grail” of bobbin heads, as well as the DON DRYSDALE nodder that some experts say was never made But just in case they’re wrong, here he is anyway.
