Vintage Mickey Mouse Wrist Watch Moving Bobble Head 29mm 1970s Bradley Womens. Animated bobble nodding head moves as the seconds tick. Very good overall condition with printed dial, bright white background. In good working condition and keeping time. This watch is nearly 50 years old! Made by Bradley Elgin in Switzerland for the Walt Disney Company. Chrome bezel and back in very good condition. Light marks commensurate with age and use. Mickeys hands rotate to point at the time. Wind up mechanical watch. Medium sized case measures approx 29mm diameter (excluding crown or lugs). New black leather strap. Please see photos, thanks. While it was marketed for kids, what made Mickey Mouse watches a pop culture phenomenon was the adult stars that wore them. John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Bob Geldof, Grace Kelly, Sammy Davis Jr, Lauren Hutton, and Johnny Carson have all worn Mickey Mouse watches. Astronaut Wally Schirra brought one aboard the Apollo 7 spacecraft that orbited the Earth in 1968. Astronaut Gene Cernan took his Mickey to the moon on Apollo 10 in 1969. I list my items with plenty of detail, specifics and photos (more than most) so please read them properly and look at the photos as they form part of the description. I take plenty of photos, from all angles. Please ask if you need anything more specific. These are mostly vintage mechanical watches and I do not know their service history. I cannot give any guarantees for time keeping, they are not modern watches. They need be looked after and handled relatively carefully. They are not waterproof (even if they were designed to be).
