This listing is for a 1962 Green Base Home Plate Umpire, complete with his Chest Protector and hand held whisk broom. They’re simply referred to as Bobbing Heads or Bobble Heads, or as I usually refer to them, NODDERS. This guy is gorgeous and he has only that one hairline visible in the back of head in his hair. Once again, this can NOT be seen without the aid of my camera flash. I saw him as DEAD ON MINT and priced him accordingly. But now seeing that hairline changes everything. I suspect that he’ll sell before then though, but you simply never know? I checked him with my blacklight as well. He’s gorgeous and displays beautifully. So I’ll call him mint with a crack, if I can do that? I know you’ll love him. I guarantee that this Home Plate Umpire has never been refurbished, nor refinished, nor repainted and is 100% original.
