Vintage 1960’s bobblehead nodder. NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH. A football player wearing a dark blue & metallic gold uniform. ND on the chest. Standing on a gold base with’FIGHTING IRISH’ printed on the front. Bobble is approx 7ΒΌ tall. Sticker label on the bottom: SPORTS SPECIALTIES LOS ANGELES CALIF. Spot on the base where the gold paint has chipped off – above the word’Irish’. Paint chipped off on the neck – left side – from the bottom edge of the helmet bobbling against it. The bottom edge of the helmet has rough edges. Very good condition for age – and it’s made of a composition material – like paper mache mulch mixed with plaster? Still has a lot of bobbling to do for years to come! Please see pictures for more detailed information & condition of item.
