This listing is a Houston Oilers, Toes Up, 1961 AFL, mint condition, bobbin head, also known as nodders. They were made in the early sixties and the toes up version is by far the most beautiful and the cutest of all the football nodders. There are two varieties of this Oiler bobbin head. One has his shirt tucked in and neat while the other, like this one, is considered to be the “Baggy” version. This is also part of the infamous AFL toes up set, which happens to be my favorite. It contains the Dallas Texan, Houston Oilers, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, New York Titans and the San Diego Chargers. In the set there are numerous exciting facts. The Patriots helmet has a 3 cornered hat, the Oilers has a gushing derrick, the Titans, is defunct and soon to be Jets, the Texans, soon to be Chiefs, has a beautiful decal of the state of Texas on both sides of his red helmet. There are no cracks, breaks or any other flaws anywhere and I guarantee him to be unrestored in any way and 100% original.
