Vintage Mickey Mantle New York Yankees Baseball Player Bobble Head Nodder
This is a wonderful Mickey Mantle bobble head! I believe he is from the early 60s, as he has a very similar design to other bobble heads made during this time, but I cannot find another Mickey Mantle bobble head with “Yankees” written across the front of his shirt, all of the others have “NY”. He has a “Japan” sticker on the bottom and a magnet. He is in okay shape for his age, but does have numerous flaws; chips in his hat, scuffs (such as the blue marks near his right hand), the “Yankees” and “Mickey Mantle” signature both are yellowed with age, he has some damage to his head at the neck hole where it is cracked, but still holding on, a few spots on his hat where the blue is worn away, some minor chips, such as the chips to the bottom edge of the base, white on his neck and other minor flaws. This is a great bobble head, perfect for a collection and is extremely rare because of the “Yankees” on his shirt!
