VINTAGE 1962 DETROIT TIGERS GREEN BASE BOBBLE HEAD NICE
I have seen a few of these in the past and in my humble opinion, this is in excellent condition. I don’t see any cracks or breaks, but on the underside of his head is a rough area just below his chin that I believe is factory. The reason I say this is it has over spray paint on it. I took two separate pictures to show this area. It does not show when displayed and does not travel up into his face at all. There is one small area on his cap by the bill which is slightly discolored (see photo) and it doesn’t have the same shine around the button of the cap and is about the size of a quarter. He tells me that this is the way its been since he got it. If the uniform was supposed to be a bright white, it isn’t now as it has mellowed with the passage of time. The head is securely attached and bobbles easily. As you can see in the photos, the bottom shows some wear from sitting on his shelf and still has its original JAPAN sticker and is dated 1962. 6 1/2″ tall, 3″ wide and 2 1/2 deep at the base.
