Vintage Negro League / African American Chicago White Sox Bobblehead. For your consideration, a scarce Negro League / Chicago White Sox Bobblehead from 1962 in Good Condition with flaws. First off, I bought this Bobblehead in 1995 in St. Francis, WI which is a suburb of Milwaukee at a Sports Collectible Shop called ABC Sports & Collectibles. My husband Jim Hill Jr was a sports broadcaster and sports memorabilia enthusiast who traveled the country in the 1980’s to 1990’s interviewing athletes and Broadcasting the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Buck’s games. In 1995 I bought him this Bobblehead which became his favorite piece of Baseball memorabilia. He instantly named the Bobble Minnie Minoso for obvious reasons. Jim’s (Minnie Minoso) Bobblehead spent the next 20 years living in the wood and glass dome shown. He was not removed for cleaning or handled in any way. I usually just dusted the glass dome. My husband passed away in March of this year and months before asked me to please make sure Minnie found a new home with someone who would appreciate him. I knew there were a few flaws, in fact some look to have been there since production. There are also a few indentations to the hat and there seems to be a light hairline fracture to the right cheek area which can be seen in the last image.
