Vintage, The Brooklyn Bum, Nodder-bobblehead, The Rarest Bobblehead You Will Ever
This vintage bobble head is very rare & so very cool, it’s appears to be from the mid 1940’s/1950’s and is possibly made by Rittger’s? . The man grew up in Brooklyn and went to many baseball games there. He got this when he lived in Brooklyn and has kept this and many other collectibles over the years. He has other figures made by Ritgers and it resembles those, very whimsical in their styling, it’s also made out of the same material. This figure could possibly be a prototype that Ritters had made. There are no markings on this figure as to the maker but look at Rittger figures and you hopefully will agree. This character has 4 eyes, pot belly, untucked shirt, large feet and a cigarette hanging from his mouth. The bobble head works well. And overall it is 5 3/4″H x 3 1/4″W. THE ABOVE WAS TAKEN FROM THE ONLY OTHER ONE, I COULD FIND LIKE IT. I HAVE LOOKED MULTIPLE HOURS TRYING TO FIND ANY OTHERS, AND CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND ONE LIKE IT FOR SALE. I TRULY BELIEVE THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE ONE OF A VERY, VERY FEW. I HAVE NOT CLEANED IT, OR DONE ANYTHING TO IT. IT DOES HAVE SOME DAMAGE ON THE BACK OF HIS HAT, AND COULD BE SOME OTHER VERY MINOR NICKS, FLAKES, OR SUCH, BUT VERY MINOR.
