Vintage Germany Bonzo Dog Bobble Head GE STUDDY character Miniature Sculpture
This is a vintage German bobble head dog modeled after Bonzo the Dog characterised by GE STUDDY. Bonzo is a Pittbull Terrier and is the first Cartoon Character from the Early 1920’s! He is very scrappy and loves to get into brawls. Looks beat up and hung over most of the time and likes the ladies and smoking stogies. I believe it is Cold Painted Bronze and he is signed underfoot Germany. There is no magnetic attraction to the piece at all. It is in very good shape for his age, some paint loss and two small chips. One on tip of ear and another around the neck opening (see photos). 2 1/4″L x 1 1/4″W x 2H.
