This listing is for a Mickey Mantle Restored Nodder. He was made in 1962 and is part of the square white base set. There are two basic types of Mantle Nodders, the round base, known as the Muscle Version, and the square white base as this one is. This guy has been restored and is absolutely mint and perfect. Please keep in mind that baseball players, unlike movie stars, are NOT gorgeous and handsome. However, Mickey Mantle is the exception to that rule. Clearly he’s one of the best baseball players who have ever lived and also has “Robert Redford Crazy Good Looks” That’s what sets this nodder apart from the Mays, Maris, Clemente etc. I guarantee him to be restored and mint and without the aid of a black light, no one will ever know.
